Conflict Profiles

The project "Conflict Profiles Map" was initiated by Global Majority to serve as a starting point and a reference to those who want to learn more about a specific conflict. We utilize the skills of graduate students of policy analysis at the Monterey Institute to research the subject, provide an overview of the conflict and link to other resources online and offline for an indepth research.

The profiles include general information about the country(ies) in conflict and the background on the current situation. Previous negotiation attempts, as well as parties and actors to the conflict their interests are outlined. We examine the options that each party has to come to a peaceful resolution of conflicts. Where aplicable, we will provide recommendations, based on analysed objective criteria. Each section will provide a reader with further resources and, at the end, additional resources about the conflict are listed. Generally, analyses of the conflicts are based on the interested-based negotiation.

This is a new project of Global Majority, we post information as we receive it and update it, so check back often. If you are interested in writing a Conflict Profile please send an email to info@globalmajority.net for more information.
